Hello Fellow Cursillistas

The Diocese of Ottawa Anglican Cursillo Movement is privileged to have been chosen to host the upcoming 2012 Canadian Anglican National Cursillo Triennial Conference and General Meeting, June 22-24, 2012. 

The theme for the Conference is "Christ Is Counting On You"  (Matthew 28:19-20) and the keynote speaker will be the Reverend Chuck Owens from South Carolina. Chuck is a gifted and engaging speaker, a Cursillista and has served on many teams as well as the Head Spiritual Advisor. There are over 250 Cursillistas in his own congregation! They claim to be the most active community of Cursillistas in the Diocese of South Carolina.

Cursillo continues to play such an important role in each of our lives and our churches. This conference will help to strengthen our commitment to Christ as well as rekindle the spark that many of us experienced on our own weekends.

Come meet many Cursillistas from across Canada and attend the many interesting talks and seminars. The conference will be held at Carleton University with accommodation available at the university. The Ottawa Cursillo community invites you to stay on and enjoy Canada Day on Parliament Hill.
